Whoa, who came up with this fabulous idea? Oh wait, it was me!
If you are anything like me, you spend hours upon hours pinning fabulous recipes, but not actually making them, right? So I devised a plan to get everyone at work to try cooking at least one thing on their Pinterest board…The Great Pinterest Cook-off. Brilliant.
I’d say this was a successful event…

On this day last year my head was in a bit of a fog, but I know for sure it was the best day of my life. It was the day I met you. You arrived at 10 a.m. after 24 long hours of labor. My first memory of you was tucked away in your daddy’s shirt after I woke up from my surgery. I remember laying in my bed watching you sleep by the window in your bassinet and thinking “I have no idea what I’m doing.” But I think I’ve got it figured out. We are learning and growing together and I’m loving every day of our life together.
I am so proud of the little girl you’ve become and I can’t wait for what the future holds for us.
Happy Birthday to my little princess. I look forward to many more wonderful years.
Here are some pictures from your first birthday party. While I know you will never remember it, I will always remind you of what a great day it was surrounded by wonderful people who really care for you.
I love you always Rylie.
